MassMEP Partners with ESE Solutions to Support Next Generation Manufacturer Initiative

 

In support of its Energy & Environment Program of the Next Generation Manufacturer initiative, the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) assists manufacturers in not only becoming LEAN, but GREEN. MassMEP has partnered with ESE Solutions to help manufacturers achieve their financial and environmental goals in a manner that limits up front expenses, maximizes long term sustainable results and allows the manufacturer’s staff to remain focused on their core responsibilities.

ESE Solutions Wins Contract with Environmental Protection Agency

ESE Solutions has been awarded a contract with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide enhancements and publicize the EPA’s Retail Industry Portal. The EPA launched the Portal in 2009 to assist retailers in quickly finding the information they need to: understand and comply with environmental regulations; and voluntarily go beyond regulatory obligations to protect the environment for future generations.

 

Under the terms of this contract, ESE Solutions will provide a number of services that leverage its retail experience to enhance the Portal including: revamping Portal navigation, content display and organization; developing case studies highlighting public/private partnership programs; and publicizing the Portal through press releases, webinars, retail industry events and direct contact with environmental managers at leading retailers.

ESE Solutions to Provide Sustainability Management Expertise to Leading Manufacturer

ESE Solutions announced today its business engagement with Incom, Inc, the world’s largest supplier of rigid, fused fiberoptics for commercial applications. Under the engagement, ESE Solutions will assist Incom in reducing its operating costs and impact on the environment through the implementation of recycling and sustainability programs.

 

ESE Solutions will assist Incom by identifying markets for difficult to recycle industrial materials such as fiberoptic glasses and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Additionally, ESE Solutions will support Incom’s sustainability efforts by identifying opportunities for partnering with government agencies; supporting an employee led “green team”; implementing additional programs to reduce energy and water usage; and supporting partnership programs with local charities such as Center of Hope (www.thecenterofhope.org).

ESE Solutions to Conduct Workshop and Moderate Panel at Reverse Logistics Trade Show

 

ESE Solutions’ President, Jesse LaRose, will be conducting a workshop and moderating a panel at the upcoming Reverse Logistics Association Trade Show (www.RLAshows.com) taking place February 8-10 in Las Vegas, NV.

 

The workshop is titled “Leverage Reverse Logistics to Drive Sustainability and Reduce Expenses”. In the workshop ESE Solutions will provide a step-by-step guide reviewing how to identify opportunities, engage stakeholders and partners, execute and maintain new sustainability programs.

 

In the panel, “Reverse Logistics Best Practices: Reducing Expenses through Green Initiatives”, audience members will learn how leading companies recognized in Newsweek’s 2009 “Top 500 Green Companies” list are leveraging their Reverse Logistics infrastructures to improve their bottom line, brand and the environment. Leaders in Consumer Products, Retail, Technology and Transportation from the recognized companies will discuss and take questions from the audience on how they identified and executed on their environmental initiatives and the results that they delivered.
