Recycling companies are our most common partners in our programs. They work with us because they typically specialize in only a couple material types or are limited by the geographical region they can service.

 

For instance, if you are a retailer, the company that picks up your cardboard typically does not offer an organics program and vice versa. Manufacturers also run into similar challenges when trying to recycle the various waste streams that are generated as by products of their processes. For you, this means learning about the different material types, their value in the marketplace, seeking out the different vendors for the materials and/or regions and managing the numerous invoices and payments. Who has the time or headcount to do that?

 

We also have a different business model. Since ESE Solutions has minimal assets, we do not have to supply them with material. The goal of a typical recycler is to procure their raw materials (aka your recyclables) at the lowest possible cost that the market will bear. For you, that means a lower price. For us, it is the exact opposite. Since we work for you, we seek out the best prices for your material from reputable buyers.

We also go beyond a typical recycling company or brokerage by learning your organization and processes. This enables us to design the programs in a manner that will provide minimal disruption to your operation instead of just putting a container out back and making you do the rest.
