Despite what the marketing materials may say, these companies earn over 90% of their revenue from activities related to trash going into a landfill, period. One waste hauler even refers to their “Pricing Excellence” initiative in a presentation to investors on their website: “The Pricing Excellence programs are driving significant return through disciplined price increase activities and service fee execution. We will benefit from our environmental fee increase to 6.0% from 4.2%.”* Most of their customers will not even realize the increase, but we can help make sure your company is not taken advantage of.
